"Sweet Charities" |
After 8 years and 8 Benefit Galas, the Board of FERC, the Foundation for the Education of Rural Children, decided that it was time for a change. Our next traditional Gala evening will take place at the end of 2008, but we are now inviting the Chiang Mai community and visitors to enjoy an evening of “Sweet Charities” on November 30, 2007.
WHAT
Chefs from area Five Star Hotels and Restaurants - D2, The Chedi, The House, Fours Seasons and Sofitel - have agreed to prepare their favourite gourmets desserts for you in your presence. You can watch your favourite chef at work and savour his creation while sipping sparkling wine. Live music will fill the air, and you will have the opportunity to view an exhibit of original art. Later in the evening we will serve you Thailand’s famous award-winning Nacha coffee, grown in the mountains of Doi Saket.
WHERE
We had to change the venue. We will now receive you in the beautiful garden of the Hinlay Restaurant. Some of you will remember that place as the former Japanese Consulate. It is located next to the high-rise Flora Condo at:

“Sweet Charities” will take place on Friday, November 30, 2007, starting at 7:30 PM.
TICKETS
Tickets are priced at 1,000 Baht per person. Proceeds will benefit FERC’s Scholarship Program. FERC invites only 100 guests.
Tickets are now available from the Board Members of FERC, and at the desk of Frangipani, the serviced residences located behind Wat Chiang Man.
